Seagate Convention Center Sales Mailer
The Seagate Center identified 30 to 40 potential prospects that would be holding an event in the next three years. The idea was to have a representative meet with the event coordinator responsible for those bookings. My idea: send them a fun promotional mailer to get the salesperson in the door. Potential clients received a box prior to a meeting that had a teaser, a fish bowl with the skyline of Toledo, stones, a plant, a net, and fish food. The representative surprised the client with a live fish at the meeting. The fish swimming under Toledo’s skyline illustrated how the potential client would be a “big fish” in our city. The Seagate Center was able to book 10 meetings from this promotion.
My role: concept, design, illustration, copywriting, photo direction and print production.
